Electronic Sales Document Fulfillment
Customers can now choose how they receive their invoices and credit memos. Effective immediately, these documents can be delivered via mail, fax or email. We are strongly encouraging customers to select email as their preferred fulfillment method because it:
- Provides an early notification that the product has been shipped since the email will be sent within hours of the shipment.
- Saves the paper, printing, folding, envelope, postage cost and handling of mailed piece - all non-value added activities.
- Provides guaranteed, near instantaneous document delivery in perfect shape, something the USPS can't provide.
- Helps keep our costs and prices low by allowing remote fulfillment of sales documents and operational savings.
- Uses the Acrobat (.pdf) standard for seamless archiving into existing electronic data collection systems.
- Can be forwarded by the customer to anywhere else it's needed in the organization.
- Still allows the fulfillment method to change for any order or situation.
- Promotes good environmental stewardship.
