EZ Torque Winch
Our new EZ Torque winch has passed our engineering tests and is now being placed into production as a running change. The winch and mounting were tested to 5000# capacity with 135 ft-lbs of handle torque.
The winch provides a safer method to tighten strapping along with the ability to apply more force to the strap. The knurled knob on the left provides a quick means to take up strapping while the winch is in a freewheeling position. The winch is self-locking and requires no operator intervention after tightening.
Available on all Sauber platforms and standard on all pole trailers and dinkeys, these winches offer significant safety and productivity advantages by eliminating slippage issues with a conventional breaker bar, increasing the strap tension and reducing the time it takes to strap down the load.
Representatives from safety, transportation and field disciplines had an overwhelmingly positive reaction to this newest innovation at the ICUEE show.
